Each participant in the Event acknowledges and accepts our

“Terms and Conditions” and accept full responsibility for their adventure and commit to promoting goodwill, promoting cultural awareness and tolerance. Teams agree to respect the laws, traditions, rules and people.

The Hakuna Matata Adventure Rally is all about getting together, meeting new people, having fun, taking in the beauty of South Africa and giving back to those less fortunate. .

This Code of Conduct governs each Team Member’s participation in the Event. Each person has a duty to remember at all times that the Event and its participants are guests, this adventure is not only about respecting each other, but more importantly respecting the people we come across and abiding by their beliefs, their rules and ultimately their way of life.

Each participant agrees to take part in the spirit in which The Hakuna Matata Rally Adventure is presented, acting as Ambassadors all while displaying a     never-ending passion and energy to ‘leave South Africa, in better shape than we found it’.

Each Team takes responsibility for their actions and the actions of each of the Team Members at all times which includes embracing and abiding by the following:

GOALS:

  • Bring people together.
  • Experience the wounder’s that South Africa have to offer.
  • Giving back through charity to communities and people in need.

HOW TO KEEP THE GOOD TIMES ROLLING:

  • Participate in the spirit of the Adventure at all times.
  • Respect your fellow participants.
  • Respect the right to peace and quiet of the surroundings and non Hakuna Matata people.
  • ·Respect the local population, their religious beliefs, customs and traditions.
  • Respect government officials, civil servants and officials on duty.
  • Respect and abide by the requests of the Hakuna Matata Rally Adventure Staff.
  • Remember time is not a factor. Take in the surroundings and take your time.
  • Keep your cool; never ever lose your temper.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY:

  • ·Drink-driving or open alcohol in a vehicle.
  • Any behavior or action that may bring the event into disrepute.
  • Any damage to property.
  • Breaking laws in any way or form.
  • Abusive behavior, including intimidation.
  • Harassment of fellow participants or local population.
  • Racial / Ethnical / Religious intolerance.
